Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Senior IT Business Analyst within our Information Technology department in downtown Winnipeg. This role is responsible for gathering requirements, designing solutions, testing, documenting, and providing training and support for business applications used by our agribusiness divisions. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are self-starters, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of the team.
Responsibilities:
Meet internal clients to gather requirements for system enhancements and new functionalityCreate process maps, design and prototype solutions, and review with project stakeholdersCollaborate and provide leadership to the project team in an agile environmentPrepare test cases and rigorously test developed enhancements to verify that they work correctly and address the requirementsCo-ordinate client testing, conduct training sessions and write user documentationProvide ongoing support to end users by managing bug and enhancement requestsParticipate in the evaluation of packaged software that may satisfy client requirementsQualifications:
A degree or diploma in a business, computer science, or other related programsMinimum 8 years of relevant IT business analysis with experience gathering requirements as part of process or system changesAbility to analyze and solve problems by translating business requirements into solutionsWell-developed communication, prioritization, and organizational skillsExperience in business process modelling and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordStrong attention to detail with experience working as part of a teamRelevant experience in agribusiness, food processing, or logistics environment would be an assetExperience with any of the following would be an asset:SQL or Power BIAgile software development methodologiesAtlassian Jira or ConfluenceSoftware testing methodologies and test automationRichardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan and training and career development opportunities.
