Senior IT DBA Compliance
**What's The Role** The Database Administrator (DBA) has a proven track record of designing, implementing and maintaining highly complex database systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability and security of our clients' database systems. They will also be a key technical resource in helping customers design and implement database solutions that maximize the value of their data assets, while reducing the cost and complexity of managing them. **What You'll Do** + Install, configure and maintain database systems + Develop, enhance and optimize database schemas and queries + Prepare and execute database backup and recovery plans + Monitor system performance and tune databases to optimize responsiveness and efficiency + Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers + Develop and maintain database documentation + Evaluate and implement new database technologies and features + Executing Database Security Controls for Audit Purpose (SOX) + Develop Automatization Process for Database Task. **What Do You Need** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field **Skills & Abilities:** + Minimum of 5 years of experience in Database Administration + Strong understanding of database architectures and best practices + In-depth knowledge of Compliance Controls (SOX), Audit Procedures and Tools. + In-depth knowledge of at least one DBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL or Postgres + Experience with database performance tuning and capacity planning + Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + In-depth knowledge of RAC, ASM, DataGuard, RMAN, Shell Scripting, PLSQL. + Experience with Exadata Oracle Systems. **Who We Are** We are the leading telecommunications company, connecting more than 40 markets in Latin America and the Caribbean with our video, broadband internet, telephony, and mobile services under the consumer brands, Flow, Liberty, Más Móvil, BTC, and Cabletica.
