HealthPartners is hiring for a full-time Senior IT Desktop Analyst.
POSITION PURPOSE:
This position troubleshoots and assesses workstation and client office device incidents. This person has strong desktop support experience across a wide range of End User Computing devices. The person in this position will coordinate resources and activities for End User Computing and may provide incident triaging and workflow management. The Senior Desktop Analyst may provide extensive remote workstation support.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Assesses, troubleshoots, and maintains end user computing incidents.
Documents incident resolution and process for End User Computing staff utilization.
Installs and configures workstations and end user computing devices.
Provides incident or problem diagnosis; ensuring workstation and end user computing device performance issues are resolved.
Supports and maintains end user computing devices; e.g. workstations, badges, iPads, Point of Service devices, scanners, etc.
Participates on End User Computing Projects; coordinating resources and activities
Provides remote workstation support.
May provide incident workflow management; ensuring appropriate coverage via support ticket assignment.
Must be able to be on rotational call 24 X 7.
Must be able to lift 20lbs.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Ability to work independently
Proven oral and written communication skills
Proven troubleshooting and diagnosis capabilities
Solid understanding of a variety of computer hardware, software, and services
Proven customer service skills
Experience coordinating work efforts and triaging incidents
Proven capability to timely diagnose and resolve desktop issues
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
2 year college degree or equivalent experience
4+ years’ experience within Desktop Support
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
4 year college degree
A+ Certification
