Steampunk is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to work with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) Team to support and manage internal IT infrastructure and personnel IT technology requirements as the company grows. 

 

In this position, you will oversee the Steampunk Support Desk.  You will also work with stakeholders to lead and implement complex IT projects through all lifecycles (requirements, engineering, test, etc);.

Contributions Manage and oversee new computer technology used by Steampunk employeesProvide oversight for new hire orientations with new IT technology configurations, software, and remote accessProvide Tier II & Tier III troubleshooting for Steampunk technology hardware and software issues and escalate with IT team and vendors, as neededOrganize and monitor Steampunk technology assets in Azure Entra/Intune/Jamf and inventory applicationsLead IT projects to completion including requirements gathering, procurement, testing, deployment, and maintenanceEnforce Steampunk IT policies and configurations with all deployed IT technologyDocument processes and knowledgebase articles for the CIO Team and Steampunk employeesParticipate in CIO Team Agile Sprints to accomplish quarterly goalsManagement of junior level IT support Tier 1 employee(s) and Steampunk intern tasksProvide integration support for Steampunk cloud projectsProvide backup assistance to AV and AV related eventsAssist the security team with forensic investigationsWork with the CIO Team to test, deploy, and troubleshoot new technologies and applications Qualifications

Required Skills:

8+ years experience performing systems administration, cybersecurity, and/or systems engineeringAt least 3+ years of experience leading complex engineering IT projects through all lifecycle phases. At least 2+ years working in Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environmentsAt least 2+ year managing subordinatesDemonstrated ability to work with stakeholders including excellent communication skills

 

 Preferred Skills:

FreshService or similar IT ticketing system experienceAudio and Video experience (e.g. Tesira)Microsoft, Apple, or Cybersecurity certifications About steampunk
