Why We Need You!
The Senior IT Knowledge Manager plays a key role in ensuring IT organizational knowledge is captured, stored and made available to identified audiences. This role ensures the knowledge assets are effective in enhancing productivity, performance and compliance. Ivanti is looking for an expert passionate about creating knowledge management strategies, fostering a culture of knowledge transfer, and building and overseeing knowledge management repositories.
About The Team
The Information Technology department is responsible for establishing, monitoring and maintaining information systems, security and services, including artificial intelligence solutions. Our group works collaboratively with other business units to document business requirements, then solves for those requirements through a variety of aligned platforms which make up our enterprise architecture.
What You Will Be Doing
Identifying and analyzing the knowledge needs of an organization Developing and implementing knowledge management strategies and processes Overseeing the IT organization’s knowledge management, SharePoint sites, LMS content, and other platforms used to store and share information Working with SMEs to research and create content on items such as, Troubleshooting KB articles, IT and security processes, new IT Applications, IT Onboarding topics, and Infrastructure design Converting highly technical information into articles appropriate for non-technical audiences to explain IT system processes, applications and architecture Organizing and implementing knowledge sharing sessions and training programs for staff members Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of knowledge management efforts and making necessary adjustments Collaborating with various departments to identify areas for knowledge capture and sharing Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations related to information management Supporting staff in the use of knowledge management tools and systems Providing feedback on effectiveness and utilization of the programs and toolsTo Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have
Ability to articulate complex information clearly Ability to identify gaps in knowledge content and devise solutions to enhance Review large amounts of cross-functional content and implement knowledge initiatives Facilitate workshops and onboarding sessions IT Knowledge Manager Ability to adapt to changing environments and requirements Strong desire to stay relevant and learn new technologies 6+ years technical writing 3+ years in SharePoint or Confluence Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Prefer background with Ivanti and Ivanti productsOur Employer Commitment
