Manulife’s Information Systems is seeking for an individual who is obsessed with delivering value, is forward-thinking, and is up to the challenge of leading multiple groups of technologists that provide solution and services to MBPS and various Manulife Business Units.

Responsibilities

Oversee various technical teams either as a direct report or through a Team Leader.Develop Service Level Agreements with Manulife Business Units and provide means to monitor and improve the technology services delivery output.Deploy strategic and tactical initiatives and plans to deliver the different technical services requirements.Create, recommend, and deploy technology and process improvement tools, best practices and workflow improvements.Responsible for Service Delivery, Governance, Reports and Management Escalation for the Segment.Effectively communicate with business unit leaders and key stakeholders.Develop and maintain project plans, resource utilization schedules and budget materials for operational activities.Build and maintain High Performing teams

We are looking for someone with:

A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar course.At least 3-5 years of Progressive IT Supervisory or Manager Experience.Experience in overseeing large teams with complex IT technologies.Experience in Application Management and/or DevelopmentExperience leading process improvement and automationsStrong IT Service Management background with experience in Shared or Managed Services, including portfolio management, contracts and SLA management, resource management and capability building.Experience in managing finances, costs, revenue and budget.Proven project management & planning skills; balances strategic skills with tactical execution skillsAbility to function as an organizational change agent and see beyond current situations towards enterprise-wide process and systems improvementsStrong communication skills - verbal, written & presentation; ability to adapt content to various audiences; communicates effectively at all organization levelsProven interpersonal skills: ability to build relationships, engage and influence others, work with a diverse internal and international customer baseFlexibility to work mid/night shift.Preferred: ITIL Certifications, Lean or Agile Qualifications
