**Job Overview:**
The Senior IT Pillar Specialist - AVEVA Engineering Administrator uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the IT Pillar discipline within McDermott. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the IT Pillar discipline. They solve complex problems and use their discipline-specific knowledge to improve their products or services. The Senior IT Pillar Specialist impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the IT Pillar team and other related teams and ensures that they are working within the appropriate guidelines and policies.
The Senior IT Pillar Specialist - AVEVA Engineering Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining AVEVA Engineering Project & support end-users. Tasks will include configure, customize, optimize, and support AVEVA Engineering environment to guarantee a smooth and efficient project execution.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Provide support and development of existing Hyperion Planning applications (on-prem) as the company implements EPBCS
+ Work with consultants and internal team to implement EPBCS with Financial and Project modules including business rules, substitution variables, user security model, web forms, etc.
+ Collaborate and drive strategic thinking in the development of forecasting models for large projects, metadata management, and data integration
+ Provide input for functional and technical design and then deliver on the development of those design decisions
+ Assist in SIT and UAT of various EPM application implementations
+ Work with EPM/Hyperion vendor to pursue vendor support when necessary
+ Work with business and IT teams to disposition incidents as either a bug or an enhancement and drive a regular prioritization of their respective execution
+ Define requirements in accordance with SDLC, management, and project/product scope Ensure problem statements and objectives are clearly defined
+ Ensure requirements are aligned with project scope, objectives, and strategies
+ Ensure the PLM system functionality meets the business objectives of the Design and Global Sourcing organization
+ Analyze business process flow and use case; create business requirements for any system or process changes necessary to ensure efficient and seamless operations
+ Provide weekly status updates on progress toward deliverables and milestones
+ System Configuration and Customization:
+ Configure AVEVA Engineering software according to project requirements & collaborate with project teams to define and implement project-specific configurations
+ Configure database views and database view sets for the required grids & datasheets templates as per project requirements
+ Creation of UDET, UDA, Class relationships, LOV etc.
+ Configure Intelligent lists and reports as per project requirements
+ Develop/maintain Data model with the required class, class association, attributes and decorations based on the project requirements
+ Configure Revision and Status Control and assign them as per project requirements
+ Assist in populating data in AVEVA Engineering
+ Configure TMS or TMR setup based on project requirements
+ Assist/ Create AVEVA project with the needed databases, teams, users, dB sets, MDBs and ACRs
+ Develop automation enhancements
+ Create PML macros/functions, buttons as per the project requirement
+ Create PBS as per project requirements
+ Implement Naming Convention based on project requirements
+ Capable of handling global AVEVA projects
+ Understanding of Lexicon module configuration and troubleshooting
+ Integration and Collaboration
+ Collaborate with other applications (e.g. AVEVA E3D, AVEVA Diagrams, AVEVA Electrical & AVEVA instrumentation) to enable seamless data exchange and integration, while maintaining a single source of truth
+ Work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, civil-structural, electrical, instrumentation, and CAD support
+ Technical Support:
+ Providing technical support to the project team.
+ Troubleshooting issues and ensuring the software functions correctly.
+ Conduct training sessions for users to enhance their expertise in utilizing the software effectively
+ Documentation
+ Develop /Maintain thorough documentation of software configurations and best practices
+ Develop detailed project work instructions and guides to support user onboarding and knowledge transfer
**Essential Qualifications and Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
+ Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT supporting EPCI business applications as a lead or administrator
+ Experience in and understanding of Accounting (P&L, BS, Cash Flow)
+ Ability to work as a team member as well as act as a team leader
+ Have wide experience with technical experiences
+ Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
+ Strong finance and accounting background coupled with a strong track record in administering and implementing EPM/Hyperion-related technology projects in large and complex environments
+ Strong hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and developing solutions 3DEXP Platform 201X and/or ENVOVIA V6 and several of their corresponding modules
+ Experience with Dassault PLM Enovia 3D Experience 2017
+ Advanced education (i.e., MBA or other master’s level education) preferred but not required
+ Degree in engineering or equivalent technical diploma with strong understanding of current Engineering and design processes. Good understanding of engineering practices & project execution concepts.
+ Minimum 15 years’ experience in Engineering software Administration of which 8 years should be in the use & configuration of AVEVA Engineering
+ Good understanding of engineering principles, design processes, and data management practices to achieve project execution goals
+ Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently
+ Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to engineering data management
+ Certified AVEVA Engineering Administrator is preferred
