Senior IT Project Manager, Field Installation

Our Global Services function is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager, Field Installation to join our high-performing team. Partnering with cross-functional teams in Commercial Excellence, Sales, Connectivity Engineers, Application Specialists and Field Service, you will lead the implementations of Hologic network products at customer sites.  You will prepare customers for product installation in alignment with revenue recognition goals. The role is highly dynamic, requiring excellent project management and leadership skills, and the ability to oversee and execute multiple projects simultaneously. Collaboration and clear communication are key as you are representing Hologic at the highest standards. 

We are looking for candidates with installation project management experience and good level of technical proficiency in the field ideally from within the Healthcare or Medical Technology industries. Knowledge of networks, infrastructure and servers environments is essential with experience in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) being an advantage.

Due to the nature of the role there is travel requirement of up to 25% across the US

 

Key Responsibilities:

Forecast new product installation revenue for assigned territory Lead Hologic and customer personnel to install Hologic products within a customer’s network environment Lead internal and external customer meetings to achieve milestones, ensuring successful implementation Review scope of work and pre-installation requirements with customer representatives and  coordinate additional meetings with Connectivity Engineers, when necessary. Ensure proper inventory arrives to customer locations Validate customer requested ship and delivery dates with install team members Validate site readiness and communicate any schedule changes immediately  Provide weekly reports/schedules (dates, status changes, demographic info etc.) Oversee installation and coordinate additional resources, when necessary.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Educational background in computer science, information technology or related field or equivalent blend of education and experience  Experience in medical capital equipment site planning and installation coordination Knowledge of information systems, medical device integration and computer networks Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills

 

The total compensation range for this role is $97,800 to $152,900 and it is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
