Senior IT Project Manager

Overview

Individual Markets Business Technology Services - at Guardian is seeking a Project Manager, who will be responsible for the implementation of Portfolio Initiatives within the Individual Markets organization.

This position will play a key role in planning, execution, and successful delivery of portfolio projects within our organization. This role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet or exceed scope, timeline, and budget requirements while adhering to company standards and client expectations.

You Have:

BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience. PMP or similar certification is a plusProject Management experience in large project and management of distributed project resource teamsProficient using JIRA Align, JIRA, SharePoint, MS Office Suite, and other software for project and task management.Experience with creating and designing professional power point presentations to convey executive level ideas in support of key initiativesAn ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner.Excellent problem-solving analytical capabilities with strong attention to detail.Strong leadership and management skills;Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures; andStrong presentation and written communication skillsStrong organizational and presentation skillsAbility to lead multiple projects and stakeholders effectivelyExcellent team collaboration skills, to include experience in dealing with multiple projects impacting different processes within the Individual Markets, multi-functional teams, and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization environment.Strong relationship building and maintaining skills. Champions a climate conducive to establishing positive working relationships with clients (internal and external).

You Will:

Project Planning & Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timeline management, budgeting, and risk mitigation.Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear and timely updates on project progress, milestones, and deliverables.Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize impact on timeline, budget, and overall quality.Quality Control: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards, conducting reviews and implementing improvements where necessary.Performance Tracking: Use project management tools and metrics to track progress and adjust project plans as needed to stay on target.Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the project management team, driving efficiency and effectiveness!

Location:Two days a week at a Guardian office in Holmdel, NJ, Bethlehem PA or New York, NY.

Salary Range:

$93,080.00 - $152,915.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
