Senior IT Project Manager (Cloud)

Overview

Responsibilities

Project Management in a dynamic cross-functional execution team in the IT Infrastructure Cloud portfolio to support Program team, for supporting portfolio of projects for Azure Cloud Platform.  Work with Cloud Program structure and multiple teams to validate ongoing Cloud Platform work efforts, identify and address findings from gap analysis, ensure and escalate related issues and risks with program team for timely mitigations.  Project tracking aligning with Cloud Program Agile / Jira execution for assigned project(s), such as Jira Epics and User Stories, user story development, logging and assigning dependencies and risks.  For projects assigned, assist with roadmap planning and timelines, change control process and workflow, and related Sprint planning with Product owner, Program manager and Scrum teams.  Assist with operationalizing Cloud platform migration completions and relevant artifacts for turnover from Engineering /Infrastructure Builds to Run/Ops teams, per related process alignments with partner teams.  Assist with direct and consistent communications with Program and partner teams on projects assigned in a fast-paced execution environment. 

Qualifications:

Minimum five years of direct project management experience in a transformational IT Infrastructure environment with Cloud / Data Center Infrastructure, Cloud platform migrations, Application analysis & Tracking.  Directly managed projects for IT Infrastructure, Application Migration on Azure or AWS Cloud platforms and related implementations, for end-to-end discovery, planning, development and execution with cross functional teams.  Solid analytical skills and aptitude for leveraging MS Tools to assist with managing project data, IT Cloud Infrastructure and technologies, requirements & scope management, resolution tracking.  Interest and ability to incorporate directions and execute in alignment with program direction and scope in a highly dynamic portfolio.  Experienced with driving awareness for timely mitigation of issues or risks that could impact scope, budget, and/or timeline.  Exposure to project management methodologies and tools including Agile, Jira and MSFT Office Tools.  Solid organizational skills and ability to work on multiple deliverables simultaneously.  Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience  Experience managing projects in one or more of the following areas:  Data Center Infrastructure  Cloud Infrastructure (Azure / AWS) Experience managing infrastructure projects assessment and roadmap planning  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively with program structure and partner teams
