Senior IT Solution Manager

The position

As a Senior IT Solution Manager, you will take on the role of IT System & Service Manager and IT Responsible, overseeing one or more IT systems and OT/computerized equipment. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring compliance, lifecycle management (LCM), and setting strategic direction in collaboration with the team manager.

With subject matter expertise in IT compliance for regulated industries, you will provide senior-level guidance, support the team, and drive results within your role. You will ensure systems remain operational and compliant with both Novo Nordisk and health authority requirements. Additionally, you will act as the local IT compliance SME, representing the IT team during health authority audits.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update system documentation in ServiceNow, troubleshoot IT systems and infrastructure, and conduct risk-based evaluations such as IRM. Manage IT systems and infrastructure, including Windows servers, databases, networks, and performance monitoring, while co-owning IT solutions for computerized equipment. Ensure compliance through rigorous testing, perform annual user reviews, and oversee system validation according to regulatory requirements. Support IT governance, security, and compliance across projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the department and the central IT organization, working with technologies like SCADA systems and LMES/PAS-X, with formal training provided.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, electronic engineering, or a related discipline. 3-5 years of extensive experience in IT System & Service Management within a regulated industry. Expertise in IT and/or automation and server and infrastructure operations such as patching, performance monitoring, and network knowledge. Having service now experience with integrated risk management is a clear advantage Proficiency in both spoken and written English.

Device Component Manufacturing (DCM) is the unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division, who is leading in component manufacturing of tomorrow’s devices for Novo Nordisk patients helping millions of people around the world to live with chronical diseases.
