IT Senior Specialist will be point contact for IT Technophobe Italy. The role will be the overall owner of the DIS Tech IT Infrastructure for Philippines, Taiwan & China. The role is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to internal customers, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems, networks and software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with global IT management to assess near and long-term technology needs. Managing technology infrastructure and assets across locations and coordinate with team to maintain and support company's technology hardware. Managing Security & Compliance, and Data Governance Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Office365. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computers (PC), servers, networks, printers, scanners, video conferencing, and other workplace devices promptly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and evaluate new technologies and solutions for regional and global deployments. Communicate with external vendors and service providers to coordinate support activities, escalate issues, procure necessary hardware and software. Network Administration -- Responsible in Deploying and overseeing functional networks such as LAN, WLAN, WAN. Maintain and support SD WAN network infrastructure, Network security solutions etc. Windows System Administration -- Responsible for the design, planning, implementation and support for the Microsoft Windows environment. Design, install, and configure internal and customer facing servers with a primary focus on providing Microsoft Windows OS Support (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, and Windows 10) Perform VM administration using different Virtualization Platform (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V and Azure Cloud)
Qualifications and Requirements:
Significant years’ experience in IT Infrastructure Build. At least 8 years of experience in IT technical support. At least 8 years of experience in Red Network Administration in a large global distributed environment. Strong knowledge and hands-on skills in Windows operating systems, Microsoft office application and various software programs. Familiarity with networking concepts and devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs. Experience in Network Administration. Highly capable of installing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting all Cisco Routers/switches/wireless, HPE/Aruba Switches, Aruba Wireless. Knowledge of supporting and administering Network Access Control. Knowledge of support SD WAN technologies. Full understanding of LAN and WAN technologies, including Ethernet, VLAN and Routing. Able to demonstrate an aptitude for troubleshooting and has superior knowledge of network technologies. Strong knowledge and ability to troubleshoot hardware, access, network and performance issues, root cause analysis, in a complex global distributed hardware/software environment. Experience in Windows Administration. Skills in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, File and Print services, RDS and Group Policy Management. Windows Server Administration operating systems.
