Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated IT Support Representative (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team on-site in Nabern / Germany. If you enjoy solving technical challenges, participating in global IT projects, have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a positive and team orientated environment, then you could be the perfect fit for our company.

Your tasks

Providing local support activities for the Global Service Desk, facilities and corporate IT functionsDeskside, L2 support and other IT support at designated sitesTroubleshoot and provide local support for end usersAct as the local liaison between IT and the businessProviding IT project support as required by the businessOwn a secondary technical skill (for example SCCM, Zscaler, Apple devices)Maintain internal user guides, guidance notes and technical documentsProvide new starters with correct equipment and guided access to IT resources and ensure leaver equipment is processed correctlyStock control & inventory & secure hardware disposalResponse time for escalations to Level 2 support within SLAsReplacement equipment available to meet SLAOccasionally setup and maintenance of the IT infrastructure at a basic levelProvide vacation / holiday coverage to other in region liaisonsOccasionally on call/standby work during scheduled out of hours IT upgrades
Qualifications
Role typically requires 5 years IT experience in a professional capacityVery good knowledge of Windows client software and Microsoft officeAble to manage priorities under pressureDesired knowledge of networking, including Wifi, routers, switches, VPNSecondary technical skill (e.g. Azure AD, endpoint security)Excellent verbal and written communication skills– ability to convey technical information to non technical users successfullyExperience in working in an agile organization that is fast moving and requires a can do attitudeExperience in working across all levels of an organizationGood knowledge of written and spoken German and EnglishValid Drivers License.
