OverviewSummary
The Senior IT Trainer role encompasses the responsibilities of the IT Trainer as well as the Management of IT Training Projects. The scope of this role is to manage, develop, implement, and maintain training programs related to business-critical systems within the organization. In this role, the Senior IT Trainer will work with the Supervisor, IT Training, project teams (PM’s, BA’s, BSA’s, etc.), and business units to manage, develop and execute IT Training Projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
Manages, develops, implements, and maintains training programs for the organizations’ critical systems including, but not limited to, customer relationship management/customer engagement programs such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Salesforce, NetSuite, and Microsoft TeamsLeads the development of training programs including User Guides, Reference Guides, Job Aids, Learning Labs, eLearning Tutorials, Quizzes, Training Communications, and CertificationsUtilizes video recording and editing software to create and produce eLearning TutorialsServes as Content Owner of the SharePoint IT Training SiteCoordinates logistics and conducts training sessions in both on-line and in classroom training environmentsCollaborates with the Supervisor, IT Training; Project Managers; and Business Partners to determine training objectives and delivery methodsBuilds, develops, and grows business relationships vital to the success of the IT Training TeamAssigns, manages, and tracks task and resources at all phases of IT Training projectsManages changes in IT Training project scope, identifies potential risks and creates contingency plansManages issue identification and resolution process for IT Training projectsPrepares and presents IT Training project status reports and presentations to IT Leadership and Senior LeadershipManages IT Training Survey process to ensure metrics related to training participation and trainer performance are capturedDevelops Communication Plans and writes training communications related to software upgrades and implementationsResolves Service Request tickets from customers (internal C1 employees) assigned to the IT Trainer queueParticipates in QA/UAT testing of new and upgraded software applications, as neededProvides 1:1 Training/Coaching on business-critical applicationsProvides guidance and gives instruction to junior team members QualificationsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Education, Communication or equivalent experience3 or more years of experience with the development and/or delivery of technical training coursesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Project, Visio, SharePoint)Experience with web conferencing applications, LMS systems, and video/recording toolsComprehensive knowledge of a variety of training concepts, practices, and proceduresComprehensive knowledge of project management and business analyst concepts and process improvement methodologiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem solving, decision making, organizational, and negotiation skillsHighly self-motivated and directed with an ability to multi-taskStrong customer service orientation

Pay Range
$63,000 - $95,000
Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to
base pay.
