Senior Java Developer

Work you will do/Responsibilities

Lead development teams to provide technical deliverables in accordance with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies such as SCRUM and Agile Design, develop, and modify software systems and custom components using modern dev stackDevelop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards; confer with users or system engineersAnalyze systems flow, data usage, work processes, and investigate problem areasIntegrate existing software into new or modified systemsDevelop and execute test procedures for software componentsAnalyze user requirements to derive technical software design and performance requirementsPlan, track, and manage deliverables on short-term sprints and long-term software deployments

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience  6+ years of full stack software development on web and client/server solutions 6+ years of experience with back-end Java development6+ years of experience using modern front-end language (React, Typescript, etc.)Must have experience working with NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, MariaDB, etc.)Experience with Spring Framework, JMS, SOAP, and REST web servicesExperience with event-driven programming/ architectureMust have an active Public Trust or Top-Secret ClearanceAbility to travel up to 10% overnight for client/project travelExpected to co-locate in your designated geo hub location up to 30% of the time based on business needsMust live in a commutable distance (a 100-mile radius) or be willing to relocate to one of the following delivery locations: Gilbert, AZ - Lake Mary, FL - Atlanta, GA - Charlotte, NC - Mechanicsburg, PA - Philadelphia PA - Houston, TX - Dallas, TX – with the ability to commute to the assigned location without the need for overnight accommodationsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)DevOps experience – CI/CD pipelineFamiliarity with ETL tools, Kafka, application security, automation testing, UML
