Incumbent will be involved in development project to design software for ATM's and POS terminals. Analysis, design and development to Authentic software products, and implementation of client projects. **Key Responsibilities** + Assist in gathering of user requirements from clients. + Document design specifications for discussion with the Product Management team. + Develop enhancements or corrections to software according to approved designs and following industry best practices and company standards and quality procedures. + Assist in documentation where relevant. + Provide 24x7 maintenance support to clients (when rostered). + Implement client projects within budgeted timeframes and costs. + Assist in any ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned. **Qualification and Desired work experience** + Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related discipline. + At least 5 years working experience using Java programing language. + Should have basic SQL knowledge. + Should possess good logical thinking and analytical skills. + Proven skills in the implementation of significant Java-based product development. + A rigorous and thorough approach to quality. + Candidates from a payments systems environment, or from a product vendor background or from a strong background working with concurrency will have an advantage. + Excellent communication skills in English.
