The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Qualifications:
8+ years of strong, relevant experience in developing Java applications
Hands on expertise in real-time streaming technologies like Apache Flink, Apache Samza or similar frameworks
Experience working with Kafka, Zookeeper and Spring boot
Experience with KDB is a plus
Experience with Hadoop & Yarn is a plus
Knowledge of Fixed Income products like Bonds & Derivatives, Financial Risk, Profit & Loss is a plus
Experience working with Linux and shell scripting
Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
Strong understanding of distributed systems, data pipelines and event-driven architectures
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Exposure to building Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities quickly, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and manage stakeholder requirements
Excellent communication skills, consistently demonstrate clear and concise written & verbal communication with ability to face off to business users.
Good team-work skills, and the ability to work in a distributed global team environment
Self-motivated and committed to deliver quality results in the required timeframe
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
