The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Java FSE w/Angular or React (Onsite) to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Responsibilities: Strong experience in developing applications in Java and Springboot. Candidate will have to work with the product owners/business analysts to understand and analyze the requirement. Candidate will develop user interface screens using Javascript, Angular or React Should be able to perform unit testing as per the client approved until testing frameworks like Junit, Mockito, etc. Should be able to participate in the design discussions along with the clients’ architects and business analysts Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in developing applications in Java, spring and SpringBoot Minimum 5+ years of hands on experience in Javascript and Angular or React. Candidate should have good working experience in databases like Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc Experience working with CI/CD pipelines is a nice to have. Candidate should be able to work independently with the client. Should possess good communication skills

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422– $131,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
