Senior Java Full Stack Database Developer

TUVLI is looking for a senior applications database developer who will provide full stack and database development within a Software Development and Operations and Maintenance team to develop high performing solutions, which satisfy the government client requirements.

Responsibilities

Conducts software technical analysis, application design, programming, debugging, testing, and application deployments to provide optimized technical solutions.

Develops and maintains Spring Boot microservices-based applications.

Provides technical guidance to other developers to design, build, and maintain the client’s applications in an agile software development team using Kanban, Scrum, and other agile methodologies.

Conducts application Oracle database development and database changes to include table creation, create/update view and package/stored procedures, data cleanup/correction and deployment scripts.

Troubleshoots technical and operational issues reported by the end-users in support of their custom-built applications that support the mission of the agency.

Experience performing technical guidance, peer reviews, test code modifications and workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in computer science or engineering)

Minimum 10 years of related experience

Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green card holder and be able to obtain a government Public Trust clearance

Must have solid experience in Java 1.8, Spring Boot, Angular and SOAP/REST webservices technologies

Must have solid experience with user interfaces such as Java Server Pages, AJAX, HTML and CSS

Solid experience with front-end validations using JavaScript

Expert knowledge and use of Citrix, TOAD, Oracle Client, SQL developer, PL/SQL, SQL scripts, and Shell scripting

Must have solid experience with database technologies including Oracle (12c, 19c)

Must have solid Oracle application database development and database update experience (i.e., database creation, data cleanup/correction and deployment scripts)

Experience with automation technologies such as GitLab and Jenkins to deploy applications in lower environments

Experienced with various operating systems, including RedHat Linux, UNIX, Windows Server

Experience troubleshooting SAP Business Objects issues and creating Business Objects reports a plus

$147,995.55 - $252,016.80
