Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS SQL Spring Boot Java Spring MVC JavaScript and MySQL. Experience in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain is a plus. This role involves developing implementing and maintaining software solutions that drive our business forward.

Responsibilities

Develop high-quality software design and architecture. Oversee the development and implementation of software applications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features. Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Maintain code quality organization and automation. Implement and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure. Write clean scalable and efficient code using Java Spring Boot and Spring MVC. Develop and maintain SQL and MySQL databases. Utilize JavaScript for front-end development. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field. Have 10 to 12 years of experience in software development. Demonstrate expertise in AWS SQL Spring Boot Java Spring MVC JavaScript and MySQL. Show experience in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain (nice to have). Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Display excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Have a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies. Show ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Demonstrate experience in leading and mentoring junior developers. Possess strong analytical and debugging skills. Show commitment to continuous improvement and innovation. Have experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Display a strong understanding of software development lifecycle. Show ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
