Job Summary:

Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Java/Spring Boot Developer with strong experience with REST APIs. Our Developers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Our developers are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we’re doing wrong, so we can fix it, so we can improve on it. Location: Atlanta, GA.

*Candidate is required to be in the office 2 to 3 days a week*

Responsibilities:

· Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency.

· Analyze user requirements to define business objectives.

· Ensure application designs conform with business goals.

· Develop and test software.

· Identify and resolve any technical issues arising.

· Create detailed design documentation.

· Develop technical designs for application development.

· Write well designed, testable code.

· Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies.

Required Qualifications:

· 8-12 years of experience working in a hands-on role and currently playing a senior developer role

· Have worked on java and spring boot developing components and creating/consuming REST APIs.

· Those with cloud (AWS) experience preferred.

· Have worked on web application development.

· Have thorough knowledge of Unit testing using JUnit.

· Have implemented Swagger UI in REST Services testing.

· Have a setup pipeline in GitLab using tools like GIT, SONAR, black duck etc., is an added advantage.

· Strong technical leadership skills and having worked on Agile teams.
