This position is located in our Pittsburgh PA or Strongsville OH office with work performed at client site in Pittsburgh PA or Strongsville OH; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
CGI is looking to hire a Level 3 application support consultant doing On-call Pager rotation, Receiving and Acknowledging tickets, Incident triaging, and priority assessment Assignment of incidents Incident resolution Application monitoring and preventive maintenance Weekly status and SLA reporting.
• Incident and problem management Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex production application defects Identify root cause and devise and implement permanent solutions to recurring defects
• Manage process improvements
• Review and take actions on operational metrics reporting
• Perform minor application upgrades / patches
• Support infrastructure maintenance / validation
• Build and maintain application monitoring, optimization and utilization
• Devise or modify programs to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
• Support disaster recovery testing / validation
• Support business resiliency testing / validation
• Audit support and issue remediation
• Support LOB/operations and adhoc requests Analyze business user needs and provide optimal technical solutions
• Support Risk management (vulnerabilities, patches)
• Monitor production jobs and environments
• Certificate Renewals
Production Enhancements:
• Code new programs enhance existing programs and/or integrate packaged vendor solutions with existing systems.
• Documents, tests (unit and integration), implements and provides on-going support for the applications.
• Follow SDLC standards, source code management, and release management procedures.
• Fix Vulnerability Defects
• Minimum 6 years of development/support experience.
• Willing to work and coordinate with offshore team for solution delivery.
• Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent Degree

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800- $185,800.
