Role: Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior JBoss Administrator to support our Federal Client, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in enhancing security and efficiency in their IT systems and meeting their overall mission to provide efficient, cost effective and reliable computing services for all IRS business entities and taxpayers. Responsibilities: Provides support, best practices, White Paper and COH documentation in the continued operations of the installation and maintenance of JBoss EAP7 servers in all environments. Engages in troubleshooting for the issues and mitigations of all JBoss EAP7 installations. Provides expertise and services in installing, configuring, and maintaining JBoss EAP7 within all environments. Administers and supports JBoss application servers and related middleware components. Ensures the efficient, secure, and reliable operation of JBoss environments in alignment with IRS standards and policies. Configures, integrates, and customizes JBoss systems to meet the specific needs of the IRS. Collaborates with development teams to deploy, test, and troubleshoot applications in JBoss environments. Monitors system performance, perform tuning, and resolves issues to maintain optimal operation. Creates and manages installation packages and scripts for JBoss deployments and updates. Provides after-hours support and participates in on-call rotations as needed. Conduct root cause analysis and support problem management efforts to address and resolve issues. Ensures compliance with federal standards and contributes to documentation and reporting efforts. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Four (4) years of experience in JBoss administration and middleware support. Experience with JBoss configurations, customizations, and application deployments. Experience with Java. Experience with JBoss EAP6 and EAP7. Troubleshooting experience with JBoss issues related to application deployments and shell scripting. Familiarity with security practices and compliance standards applicable to federal environments. Preferred/Nice to Have Skills: SSL and vault installations and configuration knowledge A-MQ, DataGrid, FSW, and rpmbuilds. Experience with other application servers and middleware technologies. Relevant certifications in JBoss (RHCJA) or related technologies. Experience in federal IT environments or with federal standards and policies. Clearance: Active IRS MBI (Minimum Background Investigation) Clearance is required.
