Knowledge@BCG consists of the Knowledge Team (KT), Data & Research Services (DRS) and Knowledge & Collaboration Solution (KCS). KT is a group of experts within respective fields or areas providing industry, functional and geographic expertise to consulting teams. KT members are aligned to Practice Areas, sometimes serving as members of case or project teams. KT offers insight into a topic or function derived from BCG's knowledge base and case/project experience. The members of our DRS team work alongside consulting team colleagues to bring advanced research capabilities to support projects and clients. KCS team is a cross-functional team equipping BCGers with internal and external knowledge resources and digital collaboration tools, enabling them to work smarter and with increased productivity
What You'll Do
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst in a Client Focused role within BCG's Operations Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, delivering value to clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized knowledge assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data, and related expertise, etc.).You will contribute to cases and proposals by contributing relevant analysis and insights and help case teams create strong impact for the client.
You will also support business development and go-to-market efforts of the operations implementation programs business, as opportunities arise, contributing research and analysis to marketing efforts. While contributing to client cases, workshops and proposals, travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected to understand client requirements, and design / develop solutions.
The Operations Practice Area is one of BCG's functional practices, which helps our clients create competitive advantage by enhancing their performance and building strategic capabilities.
The OPS Knowledge Team is an expert network of experienced consultants who help clients on specific cases related to the functions and disciplines within the practice (e.g., large capital project delivery, operating model, lean construction, business case optimization, etc.).
As a Senior Implementation Specialist focused on large capital projects for implementation programs, you will work across topics and have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in particular topics as you grow in your Knowledge Team career.
You will support commercialization efforts for implementation programs, in conjunction with business leaders, through activities such as: leading process improvement initiatives in large capital projects.Analyzing and optimizing engineering processes for greater efficiency and quality.Implementing process standardization and continuous improvement methodologies.Collaborating with engineering and construction teams to ensure process alignment with business goals.Monitoring process performance metrics and implementing corrective actions as needed.
What You'll Bring
1-2+ years of consulting experience in construction, engineering, process improvement or implementation related field strongly preferredIn lieu of consulting experience, 2+ years minimum relevant industry experience required; 3-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferredBachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred) in a relevant field such as engineering or industrial managementStrong experience with construction and engineering process management and improvementExperience with cost control, scheduling, risk management and field operationsAnalytical and data driven skillsFluency in Arabic and EnglishStrong business acumen and problem-solving capabilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsWho You'll Work With

The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.
BCG's Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA's business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
