As a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) within BCG's Social Impact Practice Area (SI PA), you will work in a growing global and entrepreneurial team, with a focus on the Asia region. You will support the growth and delivery of Development Impact sector with BCG case and proposal teams on a range of donors, development finance institutions (DFIs) and foundations operating in the Asia region. The Development Impact (DI) sector and work we do in Asia focuses on a range of topics primarily in Climate Adaptation and Resilience, Digital and Financial Inclusion, Economic Development, Education and Skilling, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), Global Health and Infrastructure. In SI PA, we aim to contribute progress on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) especially in emerging markets such as Africa, India and SEA and delivering Impact at scale. We are committed to making BCG the most positively impactful company in the world. The role will involve a diverse range of responsibilities and tasks, including:
• Business and proposal coordination, development and support, with guidance by case leadership; incl. maintaining bid assets, developing capability statements, developing consortium and bid positions, contributing to key technical and non-technical sections on bids and managing the pipeline for work in the region
• Sharing and maintaining functional expertise and insights on emerging topics for case teams, leveraging global experts and repositories; incl. developing and managing new and existing core knowledge assets and intellectual property, undertaking research and analysis on key topics and providing expert advisory.
• Being a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues in the Development Impact sector
• Assisting on commercialization efforts for the Development Impact sector in Asia region, in conjunction with business leaders; incl. marketing efforts, conferences and publications.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
Being a self-starter with strong work ethic with the ability to work autonomously and independently in a global and multicultural team
• Working and teaming collaboratively in a group dynamic (often virtual) with proficiency in agile ways of working
• Operating effectively in a matrix organization and having the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity
• Quickly adapting to new and innovative ideas, picking up complex concepts and understanding international development trends and issues across a range of topics and sectors
• Developing and writing complex approaches and methodologies in a clear and effective manner
• Codifying, structuring, contributing and maintaining knowledge and bid assets, tools and intellectual property for the Development Impact topic based on different client context
• Solving client problems through formulating relevant research and/or analytical approaches in specific areas of expertise
• Applying expertise when contributing to building and deploying a product/tool/data, taking different client contexts into account
• Being curious and interested in developing expertise in Climate Adaptation and Resilience, Digital and Financial Inclusion, Economic Development, Education and Skilling, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), Global Health and Infrastructure
What You'll Bring
• 3+ years of consulting experience in relevant international and economic development, philanthropic, humanitarian sectors or related field required
• In lieu of consulting experience, 4-5+ years minimum industry experience required
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment
• Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced degree preferred
• Fluency in English

The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.
BCG's Knowledge Team members have the opportunity to be staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA's business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.#ta #bcgcareers #bcglife
