Senior Lab Operations Manager(m/f/d)

Please log into Workday and click on Menu or View All Apps, select the Jobs Hub app, then click the magnifying glass to Browse Jobs. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Oversee operational implementation phases of laboratory integrations, greenfield or acquisition. This includes assessing current operating model and processes, scoping and planning conversion/integration plans, and successfully executing these integrations. Key measures of success are adherence to timelines and budget, partner experience, customer experience. + Carry out operational activities as needed by the project at various levels including equipment procurement requests, providing technical requirements, personnel training and management, etc. + Liaise and form productive collaborative relationships with key Lab Operations and other stakeholders of partner laboratories as part of integration projects. + Identify areas of special sensitivity with regard to change management for lab partners and form plans for risk mitigation. + Execute floor-level process analyses of partner laboratories to assess risks and benefits of integration/conversion, where customer and associate experience may be at risk, and plan and implement mitigation or necessary accommodation actions with consult of OLT. Includes cost:benefit analyses. + Test and validate new processes and procedures prior to implementation + Implement operational requirements across functional teams including reference laboratory, customer service, client supplies, etc. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Procurement, Finance, Medical, QA, Commercial/Marketing, etc. to communicate and deploy project requirements + Lead process for developing and delivering detailed business and operational plans for key initiatives with ROI projections and budgets + Establish, define, and implement objectives and goals for assigned projects as responsible party + Determine requirements needed to meet project goals and work across the organization to ensure their completion + Develop, in collaboration with relevant leaders, long-term business unit strategic priorities + Collaborate with internal and external functional groups to ensure successful outcomes of key operational initiatives + Communicate effectively within the organization to ensure alignment while driving strategic objectives and business goals + Manage regular reports to relevant stakeholders on project progress including milestones, risks, and KPIs + Oversee and guide project teams to meet deadlines and established objectives + Monitor the performance of project personnel to identify areas for development + Engage with leadership and key relevant stakeholders as needed + Manage overall project health including issue/risk identification and resolution, resource identification, change management, reporting processes, internal/external communication, financial management, metrics, etc. + Generate new techniques, ideas and solutions that can improve delivery quality, increase efficiency, and reduce costs + May be asked to participate in enterprise initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned + We share a collaborative obligation to ensure that we conduct ourselves in the utmost ethical manner and that we hold each other accountable to the values and standards of the organization. Every employee has the responsibility to ask questions, seek guidance, and report concerns and/or violations of company policy or ethical standards **EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:** + Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline with at least 5 years in a laboratory operations leadership role + Demonstrated experience innovating, leading, and executing laboratory process improvement projects + Project management experience required + Ability to build a collaborative team environment + Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment + Strong organization skills, time management, and attention to detail + Ability to interact with all levels of management + Strong verbal and written communications skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations + Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment and build relationships + Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical and negotiation skills + Ability to be self-directed and motivated + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint + Must be able to travel as needed to meet the needs of global operational objectives + Fluency in English and German **About Antech** Antech is a leader in veterinary diagnostics, driven by our passion for innovation that delivers better animal health outcomes.
