The successful candidate will join the ExoSight-The Human Stem Cells Exosomes lab, within the context of the CellSight Program, a cross-disciplinary team of investigators working in a highly collaborative environment with the common goal of developing novel stem cell-based therapeutics to treat ocular diseases as well as new methodologies to diagnose ocular disorders. The primary responsibilities for this position include culturing stem cells and retinal organoids, as well as their molecular and functional characterization. Additionally, research on retinal development and degeneration and the isolation and characterization of extracellular vesicles are key tasks. The position also involves assisting the Principal Investigator (PI) in training and mentoring students, as well as collaborating on the writing of scientific papers and grants.
