Working at Clariant's North Sea Technical Services laboratory in Bergen, the main functions of the role are to support customers with new and existing production chemical applications, including projects and residual analysis.
Responsibilities
Performing laboratory testing to agreed scopes of work and timelines, providing high quality reports of technical work. Supporting product development and commercialisation of new products for the North Sea Region. Preparing and dispatching samples for internal and external customers. Ensuring that all activities are undertaken according to Clariant HSE policy and legislation. Performing workplace inspections and reporting safety observations. Developing and improving existing residual analytical methods.
Requirements
Degree in Chemistry, a related technical discipline or relevant work experience Prior laboratory experience Language skills: Fluent English and Norwegian Good communication skills Ability to prepare report Time management Problem solving skills Attention to detail
