Q. Grady Minor and Associates, LLC (GradyMinor) is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our experienced, competitive, and diverse Team of Professionals in our Private Land Development Engineering Department. As a Senior Project Manager, you will complete and oversee a variety of professional private engineering design projects for developers; completing and overseeing private land development projects; developing and maintaining client relations; supervising and providing leadership to your professional and support staff; preparation of fee proposals and qualifications; overseeing field inspectors and construction contract administration and other duties normally provided by a Senior Project Manager. Work encompasses all aspects of project management and engineering of Private Land Development projects and working with our clients from the very beginning while guiding a dynamic team of engineers and technical support professionals to complete each task with excellence. The candidate should be personable and experienced in interacting with clients, regulatory agencies, and other consultants.
This position is responsible for the overall supervision of land development projects for conformity to contractual agreements made with clients within budget and on schedule. In addition to leading a team of engineers and technical professionals.
Responsibilities Prepare proposals and client agreements.Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders.Coordinate and monitor project tasks, budgets and schedules.Responsible for the technical and professional development of project team(s).Lead and actively participate in the design, plan production and permitting for land development projects.Participate in the development of company design and production standards.Actively participate in professional associations and civic organizations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field from four-year college or university.Florida Professional Engineering (PE) license.15 years' experience managing substantial projects from conception to completion including estimating costs of technical tasks in commercial development; at least 8 of those years managing projects in the SW Florida area.Extensive knowledge of design and construction practices.Proven ability to effectively communicate, both oral and written skills, with all level of employees in an organization.Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with all level of employees within an organization as well as with clients, public agency officials and community leaders.Proven ability to lead a team of engineers and support personnel.Active involvement in professional associations and civic organizations.Must be able to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. #LI-TJ1 Preferred QualificationsThis position is for GradyMinor’s Bonita Springs or Fort Myers office.
