About the role:

Develop, enhance, and support the Transfer Agency Core application.Design technical and functional solutions and implement the same for TA clients.

What you will be doing:

Design technical and functional solutions and implement the same.Develop and document optimal codes for complex program requirements.Develop codes for assigned unit of work/requirements within a program/module – functional & nonfunctional.Ensure delivery of defect free codes to the next level or review/ QA teamPossess strong understanding of coding best practices.Adhere to timelines and processes while developing and documenting codes.Ensure optimal performance, quality, and automated unit testing.Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.Ensure compliance to pre-defined coding best practices to meet quality and timelines of delivery.

What you will need:

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.8+ year’s development/enhancement experience.Good Knowledge of MF-COBOL, JCL, Sort/cosort, Linux/Unix, Shell scripting, Subversion, or similar code repositoryKnowledge of database- Oracle/DB2, etc and SQL Knowledge of MQ Series, XML, CICS etc. is an added advantage.Good communication and problem solving skillsUnderstand, functional and technical requirements of software programs/ modules.Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable applicationAbility to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded.Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills working with technical and non-technical individuals.

Experience of Agile Scrum will be an added advantage.Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
