Senior Lead Manufacturing Engineer – Dimensional
Position Overview International Manufacturing Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lead Manufacturing Engineer – Dimensional at our San Antonio Assembly Plant. This position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and be the lead in developing and updating Cab-In-White and General Assembly production processes through the analysis of data. In this position, you will work directly with R&D, Quality, and production on improving product design concepts and ensure the systems are building the cabs and trucks to the correct specifications. The position will also be responsible to work directly with the AME team to ensure any installation and commissioning of new equipment is on time, within budget and meets dimensional plant metrics during new program launches. Responsibilities Sustain Cab In White assembly process through the analysis of data Provide feedback to R&D on DFA requirements and design concept improvements. Project lead for upcoming CIW related projects Develop CIW assembly concepts Contribute to internal SOW's for projects Develop, monitor, and maintain dimensional integrity of the product and process Evaluate and manage external and internal products and processes to ensure dimensional integrity is met for all components delivered and processed through the STX facility. Support analysis of new models Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree At least 8 years of product manufacturing experience At least 1 year lead experience OR Master’s degree At least 6 years of product manufacturing experience At least 1 year lead experience OR At least 10 years of product manufacturing experience At least 1 year lead experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
