We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead SEC Reporting Accountant t to join our finance team.  The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEC reporting requirements, be able to work independently and collaboratively, and have exceptional attention to detail.

Your Key Responsibilities:  

Prepare and assist in filing timely and accurate SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and other required filings

Collaborate with other departments such as Accounting, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Communications, and Investor Relations to coordinate the preparation and review of quarterly earnings materials

Oversees the preparation of and review of employee benefit plan financial statements

Maintain a thorough understanding of SEC rules and regulations associated with adoption of new accounting standards and related compliance requirements, including supporting disclosure developments surrounding global environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting

Supports and provides inputs to the annual Proxy Statement

Active involvement in and support of ongoing Merger & Acquisition activity 

Monitor the changing business environment and emerging risks for financial reporting

Perform accounting research and peer reviews as needed to strengthen knowledge on accounting topics and industry views

Ensures that adequate internal controls and procedures are followed, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley

Maintain SEC reporting calendars and schedules, and coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and audit evidence to support the annual audit

Support department leadership with special projects and responsibilities as needed

Your Qualification Profile:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance

8+ years of prior accounting/finance experience

2+ years of prior experience in a management role

CPA required

Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills

SEC and technical accounting reporting regulations

Advanced accounting concepts, practices and procedures

Consolidation reporting systems as well as financial statements

Experience with Workiva WDesk a strong plus

Sarbanes Oxley compliance regulations, U.S. Generally Accepted Principles of Accounting (US GAAP) and COSO Framework

Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Analyzing financial information

Reporting accounting data and information

Preparing management reports

Interpreting and applying policies and procedures

SEC reporting experience

Any auditing experience
