Job responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify critical problems in the Home Loan Origination processDesign and develop proof of concepts and sample implementations to validate potential solutionsMentor and guide engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvementLead the development of innovative solutions using the AWS stack, ensuring scalability and reliabilityStay ahead of industry trends, particularly in Agentic AI, to integrate advanced technologies into our solutionsConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software developmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions into existing system

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience    Proven experience as a Senior Engineer or Principal Engineer Proficiency in the AWS stack, including services such as ECS, EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and API GatewayStrong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Node.jsExperience with Agentic AI technologies and their application in solving business challengesExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creativelyStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsExperience in mentoring and guiding junior engineersPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills  Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practicesProven experience preferably in the financial services or home loan industryExperience with micro services architecture and cloud-native application developmentKnowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the financial services sector
