Senior Leader Channel Partner Development
Overview The Sr. Leader, Channel Partner Development is responsible for growing the government distribution business through engagement with strategic supply chain partners such as OEMs, MRO shops, distributors, suppliers, and brokers. The Sr. Leader, Channel Partner Development will pursue distribution agreements with strategic supply chain partners to expand the product line offering and resulting sales. The Sr. Leader, Channel Partner Development is responsible for developing and maintaining profitable relationships with strategic supply chain partners. Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. Identify, develop, manage, and incorporate strategic supply chain partners which provide the greatest value to V2X and its customers Maintain trust and good working relationships with all levels of strategic supply chain partners' key staff and management personnel Secure favorable pricing and contractual terms and conditions with strategic supply chain partners Expand the V2X distribution business by incorporating product line offering from strategic supply chain partners Develop, communicate, implement, and manage a dynamic marketing strategy in collaboration related stakeholders Build and maintain profitable relationships with strategic supply chain partners through timely correspondence to client inquiries, operational excellence, and proactive communication Engage strategic supply chain partners and lead constructive collaboration to overcome operational, performance, or business challenges Qualifications Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Bachelor’s Degree in business, operations management, supply chain, engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. Must be a U.S. Citizen Must be able to obtain and maintain secret security clearance Minimum Requirements: Demonstrated experience in generating sales through engagement with strategic supply chain partners Ability to research and synthesize data from a variety of sources. Effective interpersonal skills that focus on accountability and building partnerships in cooperative environments. Ability to deliver clear and concise communication across various level of the organization accurately and with credibility Robust business acumen and ability to develop and execute sound business strategies Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, Access, & PowerPoint. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Preferred Requirements: Strong network of OEM, MRO shops, and distributor points of contact Two years of commercial or military supply chain work experience. Excellent quantitative, written, and presentation skills; innovative, organized, thorough. Solid organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail with a focus on quality results. Working Conditions: In most instances the work requirements will be indoors. If business travel is required, possible adverse conditions could present based on outdoor/geographical locations; Travel may be up to 50% of time Physical Requirements: Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
