**Job Description**
We are looking for a highly collaborative learning and people development manager who is passionate about designing and delivering an integrated, world-class employee experience. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is enthusiastic about bringing an organization’s people culture and leadership capabilities to life through strategic, modern learning experiences using a people-centered, agile approach. The position reports to the Director of Talent Development & Inclusion and will partner with a variety of stakeholders and subject matter experts across the company to architect tailored, meaningful, and impactful learning experiences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to the design and management of modern, digital-forward learning experiences that deliver our strategic talent development priorities in a global environment
+ Design and implement custom self-directed and instructor-led learning experiences that leverage advancements in instructional design technology and tools to drive innovative solutions that shape our work culture and positively impact business outcomes
+ Manage projects from inception to execution, including operationalizing ongoing program management and learner engagement
+ Analyze target audience and programmatic needs across global audiences, identify learning outcomes, and create learner personas and user experience journey maps
+ Develop and document self-directed and instructor-led learning experiences including flow, schedule, and custom-built learning materials
+ Review, assess, and select curated content to achieve learning outcomes
+ Synthesize and contextualize content in partnership with the program management team, vendor partners, SMEs, and senior business leaders
+ Define and deploy measurement tactics, including data analysis and visualization, to show effectiveness of learning and program adoption initiatives, aligning with Enterprise learning and leadership measurement strategy and partnering with People Analytics when needed
+ Potentially lead small team of learning experience specialists to design and deliver modern, digital learning resources and activities
Contribute to the execution of the People Development & Engagement Center of Excellence strategy
+ Establish strong cross-functional relationships to continuously collect the voice of the business and voice of the learners to be incorporated into the Talent Development & Inclusion Strategy
+ Build relationships with business stakeholders and HR partners to identify regional needs, co-create solutions, and integrate learning programs into the broader employee experience
+ Stay informed on industry trends and identify best practices to continually improve content to make it more engaging and impactful for the learner
+ Identify unmet needs and contribute to the roadmap for new learning initiatives to solve for those unmet needs
+ Contribute to the development of assets for change management initiatives to support program adoption
+ Assess content vendors and select relevant and impactful off-the-shelf content libraries
+ Manage other cross-functional initiatives that help us achieve our enterprise learning strategy goals (e.g., skills mapping, content mapping, learning governance standards)
+ Identify and build learning experiences that support other integrated employee experience touchpoints (e.g., career development, performance management, talent review)
+ Role model and advocate for a modern learning mindset (i.e., learning through an environment that provides comprehensive, unified experiences, exposure, and education)
**Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ 8-12 years’ experience in HR or Learning function
+ Proven experience in:
+ Building end-to-end self-directed and instructor-led digital learning, career, and leadership development experiences that drive measurable behavioral change, including multi-media content creation and curation in a global environment
+ Ideating, creating, delivering and facilitating modern learning experiences as part of a larger digital learning transformation
+ Using a consultative approach to translate learning needs into engaging user-centered experiences
+ Applying most advanced principles of instructional design and adult learning to the creation of modern, digital learning experiences
+ Displaying technical prowess, including fluency in using modern learning and HR technologies (Learning Management Systems and Learning Experience Platforms) and authoring tools
+ Managing projects with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and measure progress and success against competing priorities
+ Analyzing and visualizing data to demonstrate learning program effectiveness
+ Demonstrates key leadership skillsets and mindsets:
+ Demonstrates strong analytics, communications, and presentation skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate, influence, resolve conflict and collaborate on innovative solutions with employees from different cultural and professional backgrounds
+ Finds opportunity in challenges and approaches with a positive and forward-thinking approach
+ Goal-oriented, proactive, accountable, and passionate about driving business-driven outcomes
+ Uses a design-thinking and data-driven approach to decision-making

**Preferred: **
+ Master’s degree in Organizational Learning Design, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development or related field
+ Digital Learning Transformation Experiences in larger companies with recognized brands

**Compensation & Benefits Details**
+ An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
+ The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
+ You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan.
