The Senior Leasing Agent’s responsibilities may vary slightly based on location; however, strong communication skills and a personable demeanor are key factors to success. The ability to multi-task and be adaptive to changing responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude are also crucial. This position is located in Printers Row, Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities Complies with local and federal Fair Housing Standards Touring prospects and leasing apartments Responsible for updating resident databases Manage lead database and respond to all inquiries and leads from both prospects and residents Process applications Conducts inspections of vacant apartments Train other site team or Leasing Agents Serve as a leader on leasing processes within the property Maintain expert level knowledge of comps and the market Participate and present (when asked) in leasing/marketing meetings Maintain positive relationships and network with area brokers/locators Complete weekly and monthly leasing/traffic reporting when needed Facilitate the move-in process for all residents Qualifications High school diploma/GED equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred 1-2 years of experience in sales and customer service, previous leasing experience required Illinois leasing license or ability to obtain within 120 days from date of hire Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Yardi experience preferred Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Approachable and friendly demeanor Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills Must be able to work with all levels of employees

Compensation

Hourly Rate Range for this position: $23.00 - $30.00 Leasing Commissions Up to 8% Annual Property Management Bonus
