Purpose
Senior Associate is working as a proficient part of the team reporting to Chief Regional Counsel, carrying out regular tasks associated with Commercial and Corporate areas mainly. Senior Associate tasks will include reviewing commercial agreements, elaborating drafts, coordination with internal stakeholders from multiple areas, providing recommendations to enhance company processes, policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities:
Management of complex tasks and contracts that fall under Legal Department.Proficiency in the assigned area but with responsibility over matters falling outside the assigned area, such as projects, collaboration in mission teams and similar.Handling of specific projects or parts of key areas of work under Legal department.Working independently or under minimum supervision on complex agreements, cases, projects, and various administrative tasks where assistance to other close related departments is needed.Mentoring the team and associates.Monitoring the fulfillment of individual and Department’s related initiatives, strategy and overall responsibility and suggests the necessary steps to ensure timely implementation.Demonstrates an understanding of processes within Legal Department and the assigned sector and how the same impact the overall responsibility and working relations with relevant stakeholders. Demonstrates an understanding of processes, goals, and strategy of closely related stakeholders, and assists in suggesting/planning and implementation of actions within assigned sector to meet with stakeholder needs. Coordinates and/or performs assessment of standing processes and associated internal polices, guides.Communicates and acts in a professional manner when working and dealing with internal and external stakeholders. Contributes to operational day-to-day responsibilities within assigned Sector.Contributes to teams’ discussions in preparation of Sector strategy and initiatives.Communicates and negotiates with all internal and, when necessary, external parties creating relations of trust.Exposure and contribution to global operations and cross-departmental projects and workflows.Contributes to well prepared and executed onboarding and mentoring program for team membersRequirements:
5 years of experience working with commercial law.Advanced English is required for this role.Portuguese knowledge is a plusWe will consider people from different backgrounds however is candidates that have experience in similar industries as Infobip is a plus.
