We are looking for an exceptional senior legal counsel to join International Legal’s MEA team in Riyadh. You’ll be part of a team of local and regional experts supporting the wider legal function and other stakeholders on local law issues. As a key contributor to enabling Apple’s business in the Kingdom, you’ll be challenged to apply your legal expertise creatively to a broad range of issues with often unexplored areas of law. You will also play an important part in the expansion of Apple’s products and services in KSA. This unique role offers you the opportunity to work on projects that are at the cutting edge of innovation. DescriptionDescriptionYou’ll be working closely with the legal function’s worldwide subject-matter guides on Saudi law issues and advising other stakeholders as well. You will need to have strong legal knowledge on a broad range of issues relating to Apple’s products and services. The successful candidate must have strong business acumen, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to navigate tasks with lots of uncertainties and work with multiple stakeholders. You will lead your work with a mindset of enabling the business (while managing the legal risks). You must be highly motivated, proactive, highly collaborative, able to continuously learn and develop a deep understanding of any issues that may impact Apple’s business, highly adaptable in a dynamic work environment and able to adjust your communication style based on the audience you are addressing. You are expected to always be up to date on the latest legal developments. You may be required to engage with regulators and policymakers to support and advocate for Apple’s business in KSA. Soft skills are key to your success in this role including but not limited to critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration and networking. Travel is essential.
