Your role and responsibilities

Senior Legal Counsel is accountable and responsible for supporting legal and integrity matters for ABB Electrification Business Area in China.•\tProviding legal support in China in connection to Electrification Business.•\tFormulating improvement and development of legal processes, due diligence and legal productivity, simplicity and standardization, reflecting the country specific requirements.•\tIndependently draft, review, revise, negotiate and provide risk assessment on contracts, projects or deals in line with ABB internal risk control guidelines and applicable local laws.•\tManaging and coordinating litigation and arbitration and disputes in close collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.•\tSupport M&A projects.•\tSupport legal entities corporate governance matters.•\tSupport ABB Integrity program and support Integrity initiatives in close collaboration with the integrity team.•\tProviding internal training on contractual and integrity topics.

Qualifications for the role

\tMaster of Law from a reputable law school and admission to PRC Bar.\tMinimum 10 years Legal experience or equivalent in a recognized law firm or multinational company.\tSubstantial “hands-on” experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.\tStrong ability in handling and managing complex litigation, arbitration and disputes.\tRich M&A experience.\tStrong command on corporate and commercial law. \tExperience in implementing and monitoring Integrity and compliance program in China (including performing ethics and compliance investigation) is preferred.\tFluent in English.
