We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Liability Loss Adjuster to join the Liability team based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Head of Liability, this role will see you use your skills and knowledge to resolve insurance claims.
What are my accountabilities?
Manage a portfolio of claims from first advice to settlement and deliver a professional and excellent service when completing on-site and desktop assessments, interacting with customers and clients.Determine the nature and extent of loss/damage, clarifying circumstances surrounding loss and causation, and calculate the cost of repair and/or replacement (reserve)Proactively communicate clear and accurate advice, solutions, timeframes and claim progress to all stakeholders and contribute to the further growth and success of the branch and region.Clearly document all decisions made and reasons, including ownership details, reserve changes and acceptance/rejection of claims.Quantify the work of reinstatement (material damage claims).About you:
Minimum 4 years insurance loss adjusting experience or AQF Certificate IVRelevant industry qualifications, particularly ANZIIF or AICLA or equivalentKnowledge and understanding of the principle and procedures for processing insurance claimsKnowledge of claims regulations and legislationsExperience working within the insurance industry on domestic and commercial lossesProven technical competency and a strong service delivery focus for clients, including insurers, customers and brokersCaring Counts
