Coordinate and document internal regulatory processes, such as internal audits, inspections, license renewals, or registrations. Coordinate efforts associated with a large volume of license compliance leads, speaking with customers to uncover compliance issues. Developing and track quality metrics including highly developed anti-piracy telemetry and analytics. Maintain current knowledge base of existing and emerging Autodesk software licensing models and guidance documents. Use relevant information from products, competition, and industry trends along with understanding project delivery to determine whether events or processes comply with Autodesk software licenses. Participate in external audits: initiate warning letters or audit requests with Autodesk customers, lead customers through the audit process, present audit findings, and negotiate the resolution. Advise Value Added Resellers on customer quotes to satisfy compliance purchases, proposals, order forms and product information. Identify relevant Autodesk licensing rules to inform various customer software deployments. Communicate with customers at the CXO level regarding License compliance warning letter, audit processes, and potential pathways to compliance. Provide pre-, ongoing, and post-inspection follow-up assistance to customers. Interpret Autodesk licensing rules to inform various customer software deployments. Advise territory sales teams on subjects such as compliance customers to assemble alternate proposals to resolve compliance issues. Track quality metrics such as Salesforce to monitor leads, opportunities, activities, and results – in line with Global License Compliance guidelines for closed loop tracking. Prepare or direct additional information or responses including unpopular results and messages, as well as handle legally complex discussions and negotiations around non-compliance matters. Identify Intellectual Property or contractual violations, and ensure they are communicated to the client. Determine the types of actions are required in situations such as contractual violations, including negotiating a resolution and timeline, and agreeing on a commercial closure. Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with Autodesk’s license compliance standards. Telecommuting is permitted.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Law or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a legal compliance-related occupation. Telecommuting is permitted.
Special Requirements:
Position requires at least 2 years of experience in each of the following skills:
Experience with strategizing License Compliance Engagements to meet and exceed revenue plan;
Experience with driving compliance reconciliation purchases and use compliance as a compelling event in consolidation purchases;
Experience with software licensing models, license agreements and contracts, and territory legal frameworks;
Experience with Salesforce tools and applications to track leads, opportunities, activities, and results in line with global License Compliance guidelines;
Experience with third-party auditing firms to complete remote and on-site audits of customers;
Experience with different License Types such as: Stand Alone, Network, Named User, Perpetual, and Cloud Licenses;
Experience with Terms of Use and End User License Agreements for architecture & engineering products like AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, BIM Collaborate PRO, Vault, Inventor, Maya, and 3DS Max;
Experience with licensing models such us Standard and Premium Plans, Subscription benefits, Pay Per Use, Concurrent Licensing, Previous Versions Rights and Educational Licensing Rights;
Experience with Intellectual Property, Licensing Rules, and Audit and Software Asset Management methodologies.

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $80,640 - $95,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
