Senior Licensing and Certification Analyst
Description Our client is adding a Senior Licensing and Certification Analyst to their team. This can be a remote role. This role is primarily focused on ensuring compliance with licensing, credentialing, and certification requirements across various jurisdictions for our client's healthcare facilities, providers, and services. As part of their team, you will manage regulatory filings, coordinate renewals, track statuses, and provide regulatory insights that support our growth and operational needs. Responsibilities • Ensure all healthcare facilities, services, and providers meet federal, state, and local licensing and certification regulations • Develop a tracking system for licensing and certification requirements, renewal schedules, and statuses • Regularly research state and federal healthcare licensing and certification requirements, updating internal stakeholders as necessary • Monitor regulatory requirement changes, assessing their impact on current policies, procedures, and practices • Prepare and submit necessary documentation for initial licensing, renewals, and amendments to regulatory authorities • Maintain accurate records of all licenses, certifications, and regulatory correspondences in both physical and digital formats • Collaborate with compliance, legal, clinical, and operations teams to ensure alignment on regulatory requirements and address potential compliance issues • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on licensing and certification processes and requirements • Support both internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports • Regularly review licensing and certification status internally to identify and mitigate compliance risks • Generate compliance reports periodically for leadership, highlighting any gaps, renewal timelines, or potential risks • Leverage data-driven insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement of licensing processes. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in licensing compliance. • Bachelor's degree in a related field or paralegal degree from an accredited school. • Min 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal setting. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. • High attention to detail and accuracy in all work. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Broad understanding of healthcare regulations and standards. • Willingness to stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations and licensing requirements.
