As a senior Linux system engineer, you will use the latest technologies to modernize infrastructure, including migrating Servers/ applications to the cloud by coding, testing, implementing, and supporting infrastructure automation services on Gallup’s global platform. You will work with a technology team including storage cloud engineers, network engineers, Linux administrators and cloud administrators to set up integration and support Linux environments. 

What you need:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or a related field required At least five years of experience with Red Hat AWS Linux server administration required At least five years of experience with Datacenter or infrastructure required:  Firmware upgrade and migration, Datacenter consolidation, server commissioning and decommissioning  At least five years of experience working with the following technologies required: Scripting (Bash), NFS Server, DNS, Linux KVM virtualization (VMware equivalent), SAN Storage, Backup management At least five years of experience working in AWS cloud technologies like EC2, S3, Cloudwatch Any Professional experience working with Python, Jenkins, docker, AWS SSM, AWS Backup, IAM, hardware upgrades including Dell Power Edge R720 and Disaster Recovery (DR) activity
