What you'll do:

Western Alliance is seeking an ambitious Senior Loan Administrator to support our Private Client Group (PCG) and our Private Mortgage initiative. Sr Loan Admins are responsible for completing all tasks involved with the successful origination and closing of loan products including Commercial & Industrial, Commercial Real Estate, Asset-Based lending, Small Business Administration, Construction, and Mortgage Lending. You will serve as the liaison with many internal and external parties including the Lending Origination Officer, borrower, third-party closing agents (such as escrow and title companies), Documentation and Compliance, Credit Administration and Loan Servicing.

Loan Administrators work with the Lending Origination Officer to gather the appropriate documentation and collateral from the Borrower, verifying documents and researching information, as needed. In this role you’ll work with partners to resolve any issues or obstacles to closing (e.g. liens, judgments, insurance, title exceptions, trust review) with appropriate parties and confirm all loans are closed in compliance with company procedures and relevant regulations.Build strong relationships with Private Client Group colleagues and clients. The Sr Loan Administrator will be a part of the loan process from inception to completion. Will ensure submissions comply with bank policies and procedures and completed loan documentation is accurate and properly maintained.Demonstrate proficiency in Loan Operating SystemsDepending on loan type, will book and disburse the loan; ensures all fees are properly and fully collected at closing; Follow up on post-closing exceptions and receipt of original signed documents; processes loan disbursement requests, wire transfers and payments for commercial credit and closing-related vendor services. Responsible for transmittal of loan package to Loan Servicing.Depending on loan type, will aid in Pipeline Management by coordinating with Mortgage Production and Mortgage Processing Teams to oversee workflow, processing, and loan delivery.Assist Loan Officers and Loan Processors in gathering documentation necessary for a complete file (i.e. W-2, bank statements, VOM, paystubs)Follow up on inquiries, communication, and tasks from Loan Processing/Operations Team, as well as with clients.

What you'll need:

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years or more of related experience, education and/or training required.Intermediate knowledge of lending regulations and closing procedures, title and insurance policiesIntermediate knowledge and ability to close all loan types including specialty lending - hypothecation, mortgage warehouse, syndication, municipal, participation, gaming and homebuilder finance/borrowing base administration.Ability to work independently with little supervisory oversight.Ability to train and mentor less experienced loan administrators.NMLS licensed Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO), is preferred.

Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $92,450.00 - $114,192.00 for Beverly Hills, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
