Senior Localization Project Manager

As a Senior Localization Project Manager in our Translation team, you’ll lead complex localization projects across intellectual property and software domains, ensuring clarity, precision, and technical excellence across languages and platforms.

This high-impact role blends project leadership, localization engineering, and stakeholder collaboration. You’ll be instrumental in driving our localization strategy, optimizing workflows, and mentoring junior team members — all while helping global audiences access cutting-edge content.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments

Bachelor’s degree in translation or equivalent experience.1+ years of relevant experience with CAT tools (e.g., memoQ, SDL Trados, XTM) and TMS platforms.7+ years of relevant experience in translation project management.Proficient level of English language (B2/C1); additional languages are a plus.Proven experience managing software localization projects.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have…

PMP, Agile or other recognized project management certification.Experience in quality control, localization QA and post-project evaluation.Experience managing Translation/Localization projects in Life Sciences, Scientific, Technical or Legal domains.Strong understanding of localization engineering principles and tools and a “techy” mindset.Knowledge of scripting or automation tools for localization engineering.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.The ability to thrive in dynamic environments where priorities shift and goals may be ambiguous — being proactive, resourceful, and capable of driving progress even without having all the answers upfront.

What Will You Be Doing in This Role?

Lead and manage multiple translation and localization projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.Coordinate with product managers, engineers, and legal teams to deliver high-quality localized content.Develop and implement software localization strategies and workflows.Provide guidance and training to junior project coordinators.Monitor project and/or program progress, timelines, and budgets, making adjustments as needed.Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.Conduct post-project evaluations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Analyze and report on quality benchmarking data to drive process enhancements.

Hours of Work

This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone.

This is a hybrid position; you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
