Senior Logistician - Position Description

Senior Logistician

In Country Naval Support.

Security Clearance Required 

ICI Services is looking for an experienced Senior Logistician to support Kuwait Naval Forces (KNF) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) vessels at the Mohammed Al-Ahmad Kuwait Naval Base, Kuwait City, Kuwait.

 Security Clearance:

Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities:

Track status of material requirements from generation of Material Requirement Lists (MRLs) to delivery of operations teams in-country of maintenance, repair, and overhaul projects. Monitor performance of internal operations, providing analysis and guidance to generate greater performance. Generate cost analyses through established policies and procedures; ability to recommend actions and plans. Maintain multiple databases, budgets, and balance requirements. Must be able to perform local procurement actions utilizing a Government Purchase Card (GPC) and review purchase orders, and invoices. Coordinate distribution of supplies, spare parts, and equipment to various departments on base.

Experience Requirements:

15 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, particularly in a military setting. Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and import/export regulations. Ability to qualify as a Government Representative under Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Government Purchase Card Program (GPC). Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office applications. 

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
