Senior Logistician
ManTech is seeking a skilled, professional, and service-oriented **Senior Logistician** to join our vehicle sustainment team. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program. ***Important Note*** : Selected candidates **without** an **ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa** will be required to work the **first 60 days** in a **Temporary role** while obtaining their Visa **.** Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a **Full-Time German Contract** . If accepted, then you will be subjected to paying German taxes, obtaining German Healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system. **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** + Provides leadership and management for all assigned logisticians and supply clerks. + Analyze and coordinate the logistical functions of a firm or organization. + Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources. + Record, maintain, and initiate work order documentation for acquisition of component items from vendors. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or guidance. + Performs other related duties as assigned. **Required Qualifications** : + Selected candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. + Must obtain or already have an active Germany/E.U. Work VISA to be considered. + 3+ years of qualified logistical experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field (OR) 7+ years of qualified logistical experience and an associate degree in a related field (OR) 9+ years of qualified logistical experience. + Experience in receipt, accountability, and inventory of equipment and spare parts. + Experience in inventory and requisition supplies and maintaining stock of supplies and equipment. + Ability to meet the government deployment physical requirements, if needed. + Experience in operating material and handling equipment. + Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening. + Must have a High School Diploma or GED. + Possession of a valid European or German driver's license is required (OR) the ability to obtain a valid driving license before beginning employment. **Desired Qualifications:** + Familiarity with military or commercial logistics supply system as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria. + Knowledge of Federal shipping and logistic regulations. + Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations in support of program customers. **Security Clearance Requirements:** + Must have an active (DoD) Secret clearance. **Physical Requirements:** + Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel. + Must be able to push, pull, and reach. + Must be able to work in high noise areas. + Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts. + Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
