Position Requirements:
Target Education:
High school, trade, industrial school, or GED equivalent, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Target Experience:
This individual should have ten (10) years of experience as a Logistician to include experience with developing, modifying, and reviewing Naval shipboard technical documentation and materials. Experience should be in support of maintenance, repair, testing, product improvement, and/or alteration of Naval Ship HM&E and Electronic/Weapons Handling Systems and Equipment that includes: a) experience in in identifying material and logistics requirements for ship alteration and repair; b) experience with the Navy supply and procurement systems and procedures for requisitioning and purchasing material required to support ship alterations and repairs; c) experience in researching types and quantities of material and equipment allowed aboard Naval ships, to include a minimum of one (1) year experience in use of the Ship's Configuration and Logistic Support Control (SCLSC) database; and d) experience in MBPS to ensure APL/RIC information is identified and applicability data is accurate.
