Job Description
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for executing customer vehicle relocation services orders and all supporting business operations. Key activities include customer order management and execution, communication through email and telephone with staff, Independent Contractors (ICs), and pickup and delivery contacts. The role also involves maintaining accurate data in each order tracked in CRM.
ResponsibilitiesManage execution of customer orders.Timely coordinate and schedule pickup and delivery of customer vehicles while ensuring customer instructions are precisely followed.Ensure orders are efficiently executed through linking of multiple orders.Oversee accurate and timely completion of additional services including vehicle detailing, titling/registration, and vehicle placement into storage.Communicate promptly by email, telephone, and CRM with staff, ICs, and pickup and delivery contacts, escalating issues to management as appropriate.Update CRM activities and notes promptly and maintain accurate data after each telephone call and email communication, including uploading photos and scanned documents.Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.Ensure adherence to applicable DOT regulations and Federal, State, and Local laws.In manager's absence or direction, calculate and offer flat fees on orders by emailing the bid sheet to all ICs.Manage storage facility (where applicable), including daily management of vehicle numbers, checking vehicles in and out, reviewing and noting vehicle damage and issues, taking inventory of items left in vehicles, moving vehicles in and out of the lot, and accounting for all cars on the lot.Ensure vehicles are starting and communicate issues to HQ to address before reactivation.
Additional Skills & QualificationsCRM, customer support, dispatch, inbound and outbound calls experience.At least 6 months of customer service experience; inventory experience is a plus.Strong Microsoft Office Excel, data entry, and CRM experience.Typing speed of at least 37 WPM.Strong communication skills (written and verbal).Experience with data entry, spreadsheets, call centers, logistics, and scheduling coordination.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
