KBR, Inc. is seeking highly experienced Senior Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and advise logistics efforts in support of Advanced Battle Management Systems (ABMS) tactical command and control (C2) programs. This position directly supports capability development and development planning activities and requires interaction across multiple stakeholders—including internal teams, senior leadership, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as logistics advisory lead for time-critical, high-visibility C2 and ABMS programsDevelop and evaluate Integrated Product Support (IPS) strategies across all 12 IPS elementsReview system reliability, availability, maintainability, and lifecycle cost metrics to ensure mission effectivenessCreate, assess, and maintain logistics documentation throughout the acquisition lifecycle, including fielding and support milestonesLead acquisition logistics efforts spanning planning, integration, sustainment, rapid prototyping, and transition to operational useConduct Configuration Management reviews and ensure accuracy and traceability of logistics dataDevelop and maintain maintenance plans, supportability analyses, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and logistics task documentationFacilitate logistics-focused working groups and Integrated Logistics Support Management Teams across enterprise effortsAssess readiness for Depot activation, Fielding, and Operational Acceptance decisions, and ensure maintainability goals are met across multi-domain applicationsCoordinate lifecycle support strategies and logistics integration efforts for deployable systems and agile operational environmentsCollaborate with engineering and acquisition teams to provide logistics insight into system architecture, sustainment strategies, and modernization planningContribute logistics expertise to emerging command and control capabilities, aligning efforts with strategic goals and modernization pathwaysIntegrate cybersecurity and audit readiness standards into logistics systems, data environments, and sustainment planningSupport coordination with MAJCOMs, SPOs, Combatant Commands, R&D entities, and operational units to ensure seamless transitions from development to fielded capabilitiesDraft, review, and edit final program documentation, including monthly status reports, technical briefings, and logistics deliverablesProvide concise, technically accurate briefings to senior government leadership and interface with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

Required:

TS Clearance Required8–10+ years of relevant logistics experienceBachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Equivalent years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree5+ years within MAJCOM, SPO, or Depot Supply Chain environmentsDeep understanding of AF Instruction 23-101 (Material Management)Strong leadership, team management, and communication abilitiesProven experience in planning, presenting, and publishing logistics analyses

Desired:

TS/SCI and SAP Eligibility and Experience PreferredFamiliarity with AF Instruction 21-101 (Aircraft Maintenance Management)Experience working with Item Managers, Equipment Specialists, and Engineers within Depot Component Repair OrganizationsProficiency in logistics tools: SBSS, ILS-S, D200, EXPRESSMaster’s Degree is highly desired
